For years, I struggled with a carb and sugar addiction that left me feeling trapped in an endless cycle of bingeing and guilt. Despite trying the keto diet for its health benefits, I found myself constantly relapsing due to my addiction to foods like cheese and nuts. It was a vicious cycle that seemed impossible to break free from.

That's when I found the Carnivore diet and its incredible success stories. People were not only overcoming food addictions but also experiencing improvements in brain health and energy levels and healing many other health issues. At first, it sounded too good to be true, but I was desperate for a change and decided to take the plunge.

Now, 70 days into my Carnivore journey, I can confidently say that I have not experienced a single relapse of my sugar/carb addiction. For the first time in years, I feel calm, healthy, and no longer deprived or in constant combat with my cravings. The absence of processed carbs and sugar has been life-changing, and I've noticed a significant boost in my energy levels and overall mood.

As someone who has struggled with mild depression for most of my life, the mental clarity and emotional stability I've experienced on the Carnivore diet have been remarkable. I sleep like a baby every night, and the chronic bowel issues that once plagued me are slowly but surely healing.

Of course, the journey hasn't been without its challenges. As with any major lifestyle change, there have been moments of boredom due to the limited food options, and social situations can sometimes feel isolating. However, my WHYs – improving my health, ending my carb addiction, increasing mental clarity, and shedding some extra weight – have kept me motivated and committed. It's important to know your WHYs.
