Interviewer: Today, we have Suzanne, 52, from Canada, who will share her carnivore/health journey with us. Welcome, Suzanne.

Suzanne: Hi, thanks for having me here.

Interviewer: Can you please share how life was before Carnivore?

Suzanne: Well, 2023 was a year of realization for me. At 52, my tiny 5'1" frame was carrying around 222 pounds (how did this happen). I desperately needed to heal from anxiety and depression, arthritis, skin disorders, high blood pressure, sleep disorders, sinus issues, migraines, and obesity. I was always tired and felt absolutely miserable.

Interviewer: We hear people always say, "You need to know your WHY". How did you find your WHY?

Suzanne: Absolutely, I came to the realization that I needed to find my why! For me, this was as much an emotional journey as it was a physical journey. I dug deep to determine what was not working in my life. I peeled away the years of past traumas and started educating myself on healing my mind and my body. Experience and research taught me that the Standard American Diet (SAD) did not work and that many doctors were not interested in having conversations about alternative ways of eating.

Suzanne [Continued]: I first came across carnivore about 10 years ago, and the simplicity of it intrigued me, but at that time, information was difficult to find. I decided to revisit my carnivore research in 2023 and was amazed at the information available. I spent hours pouring over 5 Minute Body videos on YouTube and eventually stumbled across GoCarnivore.

Interviewer: I think the start is always hard.

Suzanne: Yes, but I set a goal of sticking to strict carnivore for 3 months with intentions of healing my ailments, losing weight, and aging gracefully! I had no idea what was in store for me.

Interviewer: So how fast did you notice changes?

Suzanne: In less than 6 months, I have cleared up painful eczema and psoriasis on my face, rid myself of arthritis pain and mobility issues, pre-diabetes, sleep disorders, sinus issues, migraines, horrible pre-menopause symptoms, anxiety, depression, and lowered my blood pressure.

Interviewer: Wow, Any weight loss?

Suzanne: I have lost 8 inches from my waist and 42 pounds. I hit the ground running every morning with energy to burn and the most positive disposition imaginable.

Interviewer: That is amazing. What was your biggest challenge?

Suzanne: After years of looking for quick fixes and immediate weight loss results, I realized I needed to shift my way of thinking. I knew my weight gain didn't happen overnight and I needed to wrap my head around the fact that I was not going to loss it overnight. My biggest challenge was trusting the process and listening my body (it always will tell you what you need). It was the best choice I ever made for myself.

Interviewer: What is your advice for someone who's starting it?

Suzanne: Being surrounded by like-minded individuals and coaches who understand, from experience, the struggles and doubts I had going into this WOL has been paramount in my success. If you are feeling or experiencing certain things, it is guaranteed you will find someone within the community who has been there and will offer advice and encouragement. The best way to be successful at something is to educate yourself and thanks to the many doctor's who support the carnivore diet I am able to fine tune my protocol for optimal success.

Interviewer: Do you think a Carnivore diet is sustainable?

Suzanne: Absolutely! I do not see myself ever giving up the Carnivore lifestyle. It is effortless to follow, the food is delicious and I actually find that, by shopping sales, I can cut my grocery bill in half. MEAT EATER FOR LIFE!
